Cost of BPL will be around three hundred crore, income skyscraper!
From BPL it is expecting that huge amount of money will be earned. BCB will get around three hundred crore taka for six year from sport management company. Management company is expecting to earn at least around three hundred crore each year. So roughly over the next 6 years, it will be around 18 hundred crore income for BPL management group. Nevertheless, they have to also spend money for bringing mega star for opening/closing ceremony and other necessary cost.

Contract of BPL with Sports Management Company
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), on Wednesday completed the paper works for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) with Game On Sports Management Company. The tournament is scheduled to kick off on February 10, 2012.
The contract between both the parties was sealed in a small ceremony held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
BCB President , BCB Director and BPL Committee Chairman, BPL Secretary and representative of Game On Sports Management Anjan Gangully were present at the BPL ct contrasigning ceremony. For an amount of ~ $44 million, Game On Sports will be organised the finest twenty=twenty Tournament of the Bangladesh for the next 6 years. A total of 6 team will participate in the tournament. This will take place in different venues at Dhaka and Chittagong. The two main stadium Dhaka and Chittagong will host 36 games.
Te Virgo Media Channel nine Bangladesh was ntedgra as the official broadcaster. There is a good possibility that either ESPN/ Ten Sports will also broadcast.
A Dubai base company want to buy a BPL team
A sources said a Dubai base company has expressed interest to buy a BPL team. The Dubai group will come to Dhaka on the Wednesday for more discussion.

The BPL player auction will be held on 14 and 15 January at Coxbazar.
From initial 200 foreign player, a list of 100 player will be made for BPL player auction. There will be also 100 local players for auction.

The name of the six icon players for Bangladesh premium league (BPL) has been finalized.The icon player for Chittagong, Dhaka, Sylhet, Barisal Rajshahi and Khulna division will be Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Ashraful, Alock kapali ,Shahriar Nafis, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan respectively.
