India, Scotland to take part in PCL in UAE

The management of Port City Cricket League (PCL) Foundation signed separate agreements with ATN Bangla TV channel as media partner and Bashundhara Group as title sponsor for its second edition of PCL T20 Tournament at the swimming pool side of Chittagong Club last night (Friday) amid colorful programme.
The PCL Foundation management also signed an agreement with the authorities of Sharjah Stadium of United Arab Emirate (UAE) where the second edition of PCL T20 Tournament will be held from March 26 to April 2.
The first agreement signing ceremony was held between ATN Bangla and PCL Foundation, second with Sharjah Stadium and the last with Bashundhara Group.
Chairman of ATN Bangla Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, secretary general of Sharjah Cricket Association Majhar Khan and additional managing director of Bashundhara Group Safwan Sobhan and chairman of the PCL Foundation A.J.M Nasir Uddin signed the agreements on behalf of their respective organizations.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Farid Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, spouse of ATN Bangla Chairman Eva Rahman, president of Chittagong district football association Syed Shahabuddin Shamim, executive member of the CJKS, PCL vice-chairman Ali Abbas, PCL general secretary Sirajuddin Mohammad Alamgir, executive member of the CJKS Taherul Alam Swapan and former general secretary of CDSA Dastagir Chowdhury were present at agreement signing ceremony among others.
Addressing the function ATN Bangla chairman Dr. Rahman said that their cooperation would be always with the PCL foundation and pledged to host the PCL T20 tournament at all noted stadiums of the world.
PCL chairman A.J.M Nasir Uddin informed that two teams from Scotland and India will take part the upcoming PCL T20 tournament besides the local teams and said that the PCL Foundation will be the landmark of country's sports arena in the days to come.
The agreement signing ceremony was followed by colorful fashion show and cultural function.
